ABOUT US
Founded in 2019 by Hossam Hikal, a passionate figure in football, our academy based in Amsterdam-Zuid is dedicated to unfolding the true potential of every player. Hossam himself has a rich history in the football world. He started in Egypt at a young age and played alongside talents such as Mohamed Salah (Liverpool). After an injury that marked a turning point in his career, Hossam decided to focus on coaching and player development.
He honed his coaching skills at the Atletico Madrid Academy and the Feyenoord Academy in Cairo before settling in the Netherlands. Today, Hossam brings his expertise to AVV Swift as Head of Development and coach of the Saturday JO15-1 team. His journey is also marked by obtaining a UEFA coaching license, which is a testament to his competence and professionalism.
In addition to his work with teams, Hossam offers individual, tailor-made training for every level of experience. Passionate about innovation and developing new training exercises, he is dedicated to helping each player improve their skills and push their limits. Hossam began his career in Egypt, playing alongside Mohamed Salah at Al Moqaouloun Al Arab. An injury redirected his path, leading him to focus on coaching.
